LANSING, Mich. — Sen. Tonya Schuitmaker announced on Tuesday that the Michigan departments of Health and Human Services and Environmental Quality, along with Allegan County officials, will be hosting a community open house to discuss the environmental project that is currently underway in Allegan County.
Officials from the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality;
Officials from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services;
Local officials from Allegan County; and
Interested area residents.
A community discussion with staff from local and state agencies regarding environmental improvements in the area.

Area residents with concerns or questions about the ongoing groundwater cleanup project in Otsego will have a chance to meet with state and local officials to discuss the issue and be sure they have the most up-to-date information available.
